Groodles

The Groodle is a cross-breed of Golden Retriever and poodle. 

Groodles love being part of a family environment, they have a high level of intelligence with an easy going nature, this combination makes the Groodle highly suited as care companions.

Training is made easy as they respond very well to reward based methods, you generally only have to tell them once or twice if they do the wrong thing as they don’t like being told off and will try really hard to always do the right thing to receive positive reactions from their owners.

Groodles mature when they are 2-3 years old, this is when you will loose any personal space as they will always be sitting next to you or near you, always watching.

The Groodle has a hybrid coat which is low shedding, depending what trim they have depends on the time required per week to keep their coat well maintained, shorter hair takes less time than a longer hair. 

There are 3 standards of Groodle Standard, Medium and Mini.

We currently offer Medium and Mini standard

Medium: Weight can vary between 18kg-24kg standing between 28cm-40cm at the shoulder.

Minature: Weight can vary between 12kg-17kg standing between 25cm-30cm at the shoulder
